Coping and Resiliency Peer Support Group

As peers, we share our experiences in hope that others can learn from us on aspects of our lives, such as coping mechanisms and resiliency, and stress and anxiety reduction. But what is Peer Support? It is a gathering of individuals who are brought together to learn from and support one another. It provides an opportunity for all individuals to benefit from shared understanding and discovery. Peer support is often guided by a cycle of: Sharing → Coping → Empowerment→ Reflection → Sharing. Most importantly, it is a safe place where peers can be respected and talk about their experiences, free of judgement and discrimination.
